Correspondence Volunteers Needed.

Recently, I've have started receiving thousands of letters from people all over the world. We would love to answer each letter with an "authentic, personal and Biblical response" using our time-tested form letters. If you have a little bit of "Dear Abby" and have 10 hours a week to volunteer we would love to talk to you.

Correspondence Volunteer Opportunity:
Do you like to write encouraging letters using your spiritual maturity? Are you good at evaluating needs and computer savvy? Do you have a servant's heart? The Correspondence Team may be your niche. Our team is responsible for processing mail, e-mail and other correspondence using prepared templates. If you're computer knowledgeable and like to read, write, edit, or utilize spreadsheets, this is the ministry you're looking for! Our purpose in replying to mail is to extend the goodwill of Pastor Rick and the philosophy of Saddleback Church in an authentic, personal and Biblical manner.

Here's a few examples:

1. Dear Rick, We would like you to speak at our church on Christmas Eve. - Pastor Bubba

Response: Dear Pastor, thank you for your interest in having Pastor Rick speak at your church. Unfortunately Rick's schedule is already set for this year, but we would love to extend an invitation to your congregation to hear Rick speak at our annual Global Summit on AIDS conference at Saddleback. Form Letter #3119

2. Dear Rick, I've been a good boy this year. I would like a Razor Scooter, Xbox 360 and a Darth Vader voice-changer. - Jimmy Bumple

Response: Dear Jimmy, thank you for your interest in Pastor Rick. Unfortunately Rick's schedule is already set for this year, but we would love to extend an invitation to you to hear Rick speak at our HIV/AIDS Youth Summit at Saddleback. Form Letter #3120

3. Dear Rick, I'm in jail and they took away my copy of The Purpose Driven Life. - O.J.

Response: Dear O.J., thank you for your interest in Pastor Rick. Unfortunately Rick's schedule is already set for this year, but we would love to extend an invitation to you to hear Rick speak at our annual Celebrate Recovery conference at Saddleback.com. Form Letter #3121

The most important thing is to remember is to remove the form letter sticky note from each correspondence.

Cathi, you must know Fake Rick personally. You were talking back and forth with him in French about Andy Ihnatko. Andy is the guy who was once believed to be the Fake Steve Jobs. Fake Steve is the blog Fake Rick is modeled after.

Oh...the deception.
