Venues. Take II
Just like Microsoft™ - sometimes it takes us until the second release to get it right. After reviewing our strategy to pipe in the same video sermon to our different musical venues - we need to change course. Our assumption was that people would identify themselves by the style of music they listen to and want to attend that worship service.
Style shouldn't be our criteria - spiritual maturity should be. Who cares if a new believer likes the 11 minutes of praise music if the 45 minute message is over their head. Or... Is a former Bible student going sit through 45 minutes of the most basic sermon on spiritual gifts even if they like to sing 2 traditional hymns. I don't think so.
Here's the new venues:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sermons for Dummies: Foundations of Christianity without the flannel board
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saddleback Lite: Not ready for G.K. Chesterton? This is for you.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meat & Potatoes: It'll make you think. The car ride home might be more engaging.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Apologia: You might just get college credit for sitting through this
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just one question where we gonna put the Hulas?
