We are offering a new resource for pastors. It's the pastors disguise kit. Why do pastors need a disguise? No, it isn't because they are sneaking out to sin. It's just that sometimes pastors want to be anonymous when they go out in public, like when:
- Your spouse wants you to pick up the latest chick-flick, "Pride & Prejudice" at Blockbuster video (it might just be rated-R and you don't even know why)
- You need to buy Dulcolax at the pharmacy and they call for a price check over the intercom
- It's your anniversary and want to buy some lingerie, but the girl behind the counter is in charge of the churches VBS program
- You buy a Vanity Fair magazine that has you quoted in an interview about the Bible
- You and your spouse want to attend a marriage enrichment weekend
- You need to go to traffic school
- You just want to get a cup of coffee at starbucks without saying hello to everyone in the entire store
- You need to go to a travel agency to book travel on a Christian cruise to europe that you've been asked to speak at - but don't want to be seen as being too extravagant
- You've decide to have a garage sale but don't want church members trying on all your old hawaiian shirts in your driveway
Whoever said it was easy being a well-known pastor! Whew!
